There Is Something Really Interesting Going On.
That’s what tisrigo stands for. That’s all.
Part 2 is “and nobody has any idea what it is.”
But, hey, this is not anti-religion. [Full disclosure: I go to church every Sunday (Baptist)]. But I don’t know much. And neither do you. We don’t know much.
Religious people, and lots of others, sometimes sort of think they have all the answers. Or enough anyway. But we don’t. Chill baby chill. We should all be thinking about what we don’t know. And we should be thinking about other people and how we can help them, not what their sexual or religious or political preference is.
Here’s what my religion thinks about God: He, She, It, (Aww, chill, He, She, It, could care less what pronoun we use), has always lived, and never dies, FOREVER! He, She, It, knows everything. Everything? What? There is a LOT to know. There is only one God, and He, She, It, created everything. We’ve all heard that, but do we ever wonder what any of that might mean? Created Everything? Everything? There are a lot of THINGS out there.
So why, for instance, are you fretting about evolution. Our time on this earth, from beginning to end, however small you think it might be, 4.5 billion years (probably yes), or 6000 years (probably no), is the teensiest (sp?) fraction of infinity. What was the infinite creative Being doing for all the infinities before Earth, and what will that infinite creative Being be doing for all the infinities after Earth? Do you think, after we die, we’re just going to sit around singing hymns, forever? That sounds like hell to me. I am pretty sure that if God is anything like the creative mind-boggling being, speculated on above, He, She, or It, doesn’t want to sit around FOREVER, while we sing hymns. Not that there is anything wrong with hymns.
You don’t know, and neither do I. So why are you obsessed with such tiny, silly, pointless, things. You’re supposed to just be helping people. And creating. And learning. Isn’t that great? That’s so great. Chill out and start helping people. Don’t tell them how to think, just help them. If you’ve got something worth having, they will learn it. And keep learning, and be creative. If there is anything this world and universe should tell you about God, it’s that He, She, or It, is, holy mackerel, creative! Jump on that bandwagon!
TISRIGO!
