TISRIGO. It’s an acronym:
“There Is Something Really Interesting Going On”…
There is a second part to the phrase that makes all the difference. But if I throw it in first thing, some of you may be put off. It’s really the most important part, but there is no acronym for the second part. It’s just something the relaxed, open-minded, sane beings of the universe know.
According to the Alkozirans, it’s a phrase that became a big idea in another universe and on another world (planet QW1212-24, in universe 40012) with inhabitants much like humans (yup, there are parallel earths, lots of them). For this planet it became a species changing philosophy that led to worldwide peace, prosperity, and universal salvation.
Could it work here?
The Alkozirans couldn’t care less, and, to put it mildly, they’re skeptical. But they don’t mind if I try. In their funny way and complicated language (which I understand), they said “resu utchul omelcrooo crumbono-snot”. Rough translation: “Knock yourself out, kiddo.”
I say it’s worth a shot. Especially since it is an absolute certainty that if we don’t change, they will, sooner rather than later, change us in a way that will “end humanity as we know it”. Or they may simply eliminate us without a trace. According to them, after they thoughtfully clean up a few of the messes our sudden demise will leave behind, neither the earth nor the universe will miss us.
But hey, that’s gloomy. My intent is for this to be a fun lighthearted site.
So chill out, relax, explore, learn to think or get better at it, question, and get sane.
